A review of St Angelo’s Pizza and Wings in New Port Richey, Florida.

We ordered both a BOW and a mini BOW with 5 wings. Before our food came, we were given a nice basket of homemade potato chips. Service was prompt and courteous. Both sandwiches were very similar.

The beef was very tender but was well done (this seems to be a Florida theme). There was a lot of meat and no fat, grizzle, or mystery bits. The meat was well seasoned. 3 points
The bun here was outstanding—fresh, toasted, and with salt and caraway seeds sprinkled on instead of dipped in a bowl of seeds and salt. It is perhaps the best bun so far.

I would have liked some more salt and caraway seeds, but the freshness and flavor of the roll more than made up for it. 2 points.
Good pickle 1 point
Good horseradish – It wasn’t as “bitey” as some I have had, but it tasted great. Our server even stopped back in to see if I wanted more horseradish. 1 point
The au jus was the first one in our quest, and it was actual meat juice with no boullion, additive, or color. It was delightful. 1 point
Overall, I would go again. (the wings were great as well)
