Coasters Pub and Biergarten

We visited Coasters Pub during a fishing trip to the East Coast of Florida and arrived about 5:30 pm.  Coasters is located in a strip mall and there was plenty of parking. Our server was Amber and she was helpful, attentive, and knowledgable.  Amber tolerated my (seemingly) endless questions about the roast beef, the roll, and all the sides.  Most impressive was the huge selection of beer that was offered!

The menu states that the sandwich ( A beef on wick) comes with swiss cheese.  I asked for no swiss.  When the sandwich arrived, my heart sank – no caraway seeds on the roll!  The beef was a good sized portion and was flavorful and juicy.  The roll, aside from being seedless, was a bit dense.  Fortunately, there was a large bowl of good Au Jus for dipping.  The pickle was good and the horseradish, while low bite, was flavorful and had great texture.  Score 8.3/10

The side was tater tots.  Perhaps not the most inspired of sides but at least better than potato chips.   The tots were well cooked, in fresh oil, and tasted really good!   Score 9/10  (lost 1 point for creativity)

This is a large place with a long bar and lots of tables.  It was clean, the decor was spot on for a Biergarten, and the beer list was incredible.  It was clean and offered great service and a friendly atmosphere.  10/10

The overall restaurant rating is a B. Score wise it came out a low A but - no caraway seeds and misspelling weck brought it done to a B
